| Right on! Is too late to put one in? I'm thinking about it for a property I got permission to hunt close to home. | |

| Now's a good time to set one up. Does and bucks are craving for minerals. I'm using a mineral mixture put together for me by a feed store. I just started using the mix last year and they dug it up pretty good. The only problem is if you have bears around, they like it too -" bear safe cam". | |

| Yes, you can put one in any time the ground is not frozen. If you don't want to wait to find a mix then just buy some black magic lasts about 60 days for 8.00- 10.00 dollars make sure you pick a spot just off of a trail area that can take being dug up as the deer will dig a hole. | |

| Hi Hunters, Yes, when I saw that deer, I was thinking thin myself. You can see its ribs. Get a ton of snow there? Do you guys ever catch deer on mineral licks during daylight / hunting season? Oneshot | |

| A lot of the deer in this area are thin, ribs showing like that every spring. They had 3 to 4 feet of snow that stayed all winter in this area, making it tough for them. By mid- summer they fill out pretty good though. Yes, I've seen fawns, does, young bucks hit the minerals and block licks during hunting season. But not mature bucks. | |

| I have seen them as well. Oneshot if you check out the trail cam sec you can see mature bucks at the lick I put out, the advantage the lick site will give the deer, in any area is well worth it. | |
