| I've been out twice and haven't seen a thing.... well, except for a couple of squirrels and a raccoon. On my second outing, I knew the wind was wrong. Had to settle with a cross wind, but getting to my stand probably did me in for the rest of the day. Though I'm pretty sure my spot is good based on signs and my experience there seeing deer, I don't think it's the right time yet for that area. I don't want to hunt the full moon as well, which is next weekend (never seen any deer on a full moon), so that brings me into the last weekend of October. It should be much better by then.
How about you guys? | |

| I was out a few mornings with only seeing a doe! Myself and Adrian Hare had a buck come within 15 yards of us this morning while we were out on a turkey hunt! I beleive things will heat up soon with the deer! | |

| Well before I went up north for Moose, I was seeing lots of nice does. I am going to take a few days off and start again on monday. _________________ "Hunting cannot be fully explained" "It must be experianced to be fully understood" Proud Member of..... | Haven't been out seriously hunting yet (I'm a gun hunter) but I have had a chance to take does and a few small bucks, one small 8 pter tempted me but my big hunt comes up later and unless the buck is really decent I don't want to use my buck tag on a small buck (yet). | |

| This guy came by me real close one evening, passed on him. I had some fawns and a doe come in another evening . [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Hey Tracer, it would be nice to see him grow - wonder what he'll look like next year. Good luck
Was up at the property this weekend tweaking my setups - two for different winds. Didn't see any signs this time. We see more signs in October than as November progresses, hardly any. Just trying to figure it out.
Anyhow, good luck guys. | |

| Thanks, I'm hoping he makes it through . It will be interesting to see how much he's grown next year. Halloween weekend should be good for some big buck action, good luck to all. | |

| awfully slow start this year. Only seen two deer so far. The beans were cut and they cut the corn the other day. Bit of snow yesterday and staying fairly cool, should pick up soon. | |

| I can't wait, I head out next week to the Fort and hope the weather gets cool and a little snow falls. That will get the bucks moving. | |

| Nothing happening and time is really running out now. I have hunted a lot more than usual this year... which still isn't much compared to most. But I do what I can. I may have only one or two more times to get out and really hope to see something.... man are they ever nocturnal this year.
How about you guys? | |

| It's been a really tough go through Nov. to date, with no deer sightings on stand. The deer are nocturnal in my area as well and the deep snow has changed some of their travel patterns. I've got two more hunts planned this week. | |

| My season came to a close yesterday. Was out for the afternoon on a good wind and overlooking a great little pinch point from a ridge... but nothing showed up. Oh well, I hunted more than I've been used to for the past few years and enjoyed every bit. Good luck to the rest of you die-hards! | |
