I am not scared!!!!!!!!

Was hunting in Conn. Its about a mile hike in. Follow a small brook to a spot nestled in the Mountains. its surounded by ledges ,laurel,and mix.ed wth oaks. A beautiful little bowl where my stand is.T about half hour before dark a skipper came by . I have 2 doe tags and prefer skippers if i can.Love those hind quarters slow cooked.Well, i took the shot at about 25 yds a good hit.While waiting the traditional half hr. coyotes started yipping and howling all around me on the mountains. I found the young deer dressed it and started dragging. I hadnt gone a hundred yds and all hell broke loose on that gut pile, what a rucus.started dragiing a little faster .Wasnt 5 min. and i could hear yipping and the yotes rusling about in the leaves on both sides of me .I dint run ,but it was a very fast drag.Ya know , i didnt think peoples hair could stand on end like a mad dog.LOL damn yotes!!!

I hear you, I had them yipping all around me on my way into my stand several years ago on the 1st day of the November hunt. I must have walked into the middle of a pack @ rest. but it sure as hell scared the bujesus out of me.

I rremember when I was 15 on my first deer hunt, pitch black early morning they started right behind my tree stand, I had never heard yotes before made my hair stand up.
