 Ned's 2011 season

Well its been a tough week, I shot 3 deer (2 bucks & doe) on Monday, didn't find any of them until this morning when the guy on the neighbouring property told me he found the spike buck. Coyotes ate everything but the head

Tues got better, I was in the buck stand in the hardwood bush and this 6 pt buck was cruising thru, I gave him a grunt to stop him, as he's looking at me I pull the trigger "CLICK!" I'm not kidding, no boom, as he continued to look at me I cocked the gun, ejected the unspent round and made the 2nd shot count. He didn't walk another step..

An adventure hunt for sure Ned. Too bad about the spiker getting cleaned by the coyotes. Congrats on a nice 6 pt buck.
