I gave my Excalibur a tuneup/check over today, cleaned the wax off the rail, put a thin layer of rail lube on. Put a new string on, worked some wax into the string and the bow shoots the firebolts dead on.
This rail lub is from Excalibur - EXLUBE - claims to reduce string friction, increases crossbow speed, prolongs string life, has HDT, 100% odourless, will not freeze.

All ready for the bow opener on Monday, good luck to all heading out to their stands.

I got out yesterday afternoon, no deer sightings. I will try a different spot today.

Good luck to all! I am not a bow hunter but wouldn't mind trying deer hunting with a crossbow.

Afternoon hunt, 10 turkeys paraded past me and then a doe and a fawn came in barely visable through the pine trees. No sign of any bucks yet.
