Cam mounted at 6ft. Doe appears not to be bothered by cam.

Tracer, won't be long and they'll have their new coats, will look a lot nicer then. I mounted my IR cam about 7 or 8 feet up this year and the deer don't seem to notice it. Last year it was lower and a couple of bucks only showed up for one pic, but would stand 40 yards away in front of the white flash camera every night.

quote : "but would stand 40 yards away in front of the white flash camera every night." That is interesting Steve. I've already planned on setting up more white flash cameras this summer including a homebrew P32.

I think the deer can't tell the difference between lightning flash or cam flash, if they can't see the camera [placed higher] then more pics of smarter/older bucks. should be on the cams. I am going to put mine out in the next few days. I just have not had the time.
