What are you seeing in the woods guys ? I'm seeing some scrapes but no rubs. Does are running across highways in front of me.
What rut indicators are you seeing ?

I am not living near my hunting area, but I have a couple cameras out. My buddy checks them once a week and sends me any pics of bucks. near his stand he has a couple nice bucks coming in the day time. My stand area sees lots of does in the light but the bucks so far are mainly seen at night. This should change soon with cooler weather on the way.

Good report 4ST. Should be a good hunt for you guys.
Talking to the manager at enterprise car rental in Owen Sound, they are very busy because the body shops are full with cars that have hit deer.
Big wind came through today, cold front, should be good hunting this evening and the weekend.

My hunt is from Nov. 16 - 22 on the south end of Manitoulin Island. It is in an area with a mix of farmland and forested areas. Lot's of deer but usually not too old. We have pics of some decent 8 and 10 pointers though. Usually have to get them early because they smarten up real fast.

Hi all, seeing lots of scrapes here now but all movement seems to be at night. Has been way too warm here lately. I did get a daylight pic yesterday so will sit there this morning for a while. Good luck.

Just got some new pics from my friend on the island. Same deer that I have in other pics but still all at night. Hope this changes before next week.

Hey shedder, great to see ya. This past Thursday, on the way to work I saw a nice mature buck standing by and then chasing a
doe across an open field. Great to watch that scene.

Still pretty slow here in 69a Too mild. A few sightings during daylight but not many. Not even seeing Does. Most Does don't have fawns, which is happening for a few years now. Lots of coyotes around and they were howling this morning at about 8:30 Hasn't been a good year so far.
