I don't like chicken that much, but I love it cooked this way
ONE WHOLE CHICKEN CUT IN 1/2 OR CHICKEN PARTS [LEGS, BREASTS, SKIN ON, BONE IN]
LEMON PEPPER
GARLIC POWDER
SALT
Preheat B.B.Q. turn both sides on high. In the mean time sprinkle chicken with salt, garlic powder and lemon pepper in that order, making sure to cover all sides of chicken. With chicken ready to go turn off one side of the Q, keeping one side on high, place chicken skin side down on the side you turned off. Close lid cook for about twenty mins. Then turn on the side you have the chicken on, turn off the other side ,move chicken to the side you just turned off, skin up. Cook for about twenty more mins. now repeat moving chicken to oppisite side turning that side off and starting the other side [ keeping the skin side up] [CHICKEN SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON THE OFF SIDE] cook for 15-20 mins more, you will have moist chicken inside and delicious crispy skin on the outside.Cooking the chicken this way lets the fat and juice from the chicken drip on an unlite side so when you do lite the side not under the chicken the juices burn creating a wonderful flavour in the chicken.
NOTE: IF YOUR Q IS A VERY HOT ONE, COOK ON MED
