Coffee and a Yote Empty
PostSubject: Coffee and a Yote   Coffee and a Yote Icon_minitimeSat Oct 23, 2010 10:32 am

I just came back from Moose hunting last nite. This morning I was having a coffee and cleaning my 300 win mag, while watching a pair of does eating grass in my yard ,when I saw them look towards the driveway, that always means somthing or some one is there. So I get up and look sure enough this time its a Yote. I put the bolt back in, grab some shells [they were right beside me] place 3 in and go to look , the Yote is gone, so I figure what the hell, go to the back bedroom open the slider and start screaming like a rabbit in big trouble, two calls about 30-40 seconds long and the Yote comes running into the yard she stops dead at about 50 yards and then she was dead because as soon as she stopped I blasted her, she dropped in her tracks twiched for a few seconds and was done. One less cat stealing, deer eating Yote.
