| Well a few people have asked me to post some picks of our bucks we harvested this year. This year was a great year with lots of bucks and does sited. I passed up on some small bucks early in the week but when I jumped what i thought was an eight pointer my instincts took over and I ended up taking a 6pter with no brow tines (last buck I saw all week though). Others in my group were a little luckier or had more trigger contol. I really feel happy for the one I hunt with most of the time. He brought me to the camp and told me to hunt a certain area that he had seen some good sign in previous years but that no one hunted. Well I have taken a big 11pter and a large 18pter out of there and he has been sorry he told me about the area. Well this year I am glad he got his trophy buck, a very symetrical 10 pter with some tines over 13". He is an official FROW measurer and he green scored it in the high 150's (157-158 I believe). Well I guess I had better post some pic's. Ron's 10 pointer Another lucky hunter, Eddy with his 10 pointer. Well and then there was my little 6 pter (the most tender of the bunch!!!) | |

| Congrats to Ron and Eddy on their 10 pointers. Love the symmetry of those racks. Congrats on your nice buck and for coming through with the tender back straps . | |

| If you look at the pics, Ron's buck was the last buck tag to be filled out of 6 guys. The pic of mine was two days later. See any change!!! BRRRRRR! | |

| It was not real cold, only about -10 Celcius but with 30-40 km winds it felt way colder. Those last days I was in a pop up blind and when I went to take it down it almost blew away. I caught it by one of the tie down strings. It is one of those that you have to fold over, twist and so on. A real birch. Next year I am getting all hub blinds. I prefer something smaller but after trying to get that dang thing into the case I'll put up with the size. One of my partners has a Bone Collector blind and it looks real good other than being on the big size. It is one of the quietest blinds I've seen. | |

| I almost bought a Bone Collector hub blind last year. Going to get one this year since the bears pretty much destroyed my dog house blind. I won't be leaving it in the bush anymore. | |

| I can hardly wait until next season.
It is nice to see that your buddy Ron entered his buck in OMW's King of the Woods contest. Good luck to him. | |

| I must be blind, I just seen this post!! some nice deer there, look at the length of the tines on that first one. I thought the guy looked familiar, but then I just read the omw magazine a couple of weeks ago so I guess thats why. Well, good luck to Ron in the contest, I think it's coming up soon. | |
