I use this at fishing and hunt camp along with a few other slow cooker recipies. I am usually starving when I get back to camp and I just want to eat and relax.** this is prepared the nite before so it is ready to put togther in the morning**This will work even if you want to be out 12 hours by using a timer. Here is what you will need.

1 lb ground venison or other meat of your choice
1 675 mil jar pasta sauce

Stir in pasta sauce and water set aside. then mix the ricotta,1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, 2 tbl spns of the parmasan and the egg together. [not with the meat sauce] Refrigerate if making ahead keeping them seperate, follow directions below when ready to prepare.
Spoon 1 cup of the meat sauce into bottom of slow cooker, cover with 3 noodles broken to fit, then 1/3 of the cheese mix 1/3 of the remaining meat sauce repeat until ingrediants are used the meat sauce should be on the top when you are done. cook on low heat 4-6 hrs.
