| Well it sure looks like it will be early for most things. This could be good or it could be bad,. The good should come from the mild weather for Deer and Moose having their young, plus the green up will happen sooner. The bad I think will be from everything getting to dry making it a high risk for fires.[ hopeing for lots of rain] I was also thinking that the turkey rut will also be early, might be a lot of birds already on a nest by opener, maybe bad for hunting but should be good for next years birds. | |

I agree with your points Final. It will be interesting to see how the next three weeks play out temperature wise. | |

| Good points Final. Supposed to cool down next week. We'll see if we go back into the norm, but I think we're in for a warmer than usual spring. | |

| Looking at the long range forcast the weather does cool down, but not to the norms we usually have. Rivers are flooding in our area and the crest has yet to hit. The fields are clear but there is still a fair bit of snow in the bush. If it stays dry the fire season will be early and the bombers are likely not ready yet (over hauls). As for the bugs, hope for a real cold snap of a couple of days or we are going to get chewed to pieces. | |
