Corn surrounded by wheat!

Looks like it could get interesting this year. Our block is covered in corn and surrounded by wheat. Plus we have apple trees on one side. Haven't checked the camera, I will give it a little more time. Did some looking around and found a nice spot to practice shooting the compound and it is actually a great spot to sit and glass... it overlooks the strip deer are using to cross from bedding to feeding. There are some bean fields around but all the corn's on our block. I hope it becomes our ticket to some excitement this year.

They are the same crops that are growing in my hunting area.Good luck this fall Swamp Buck. They are starting to take off the wheat already. The bucks will be hitting the fields after it is harvested. Going to do some road side glassing in the evenings this week.

It's exactly what I am thinking... they're cutting the wheat already.
