Broke the string last week, never had one break in 25 years of shooting. All I can think is because I'm not used to having the dry-fire devise on the bow that when I heard it click, I stopped pushing the arrow in. That would leave a gap between the string and arrow, half inch, maybe more?? It smashed the end of the arrow and broke the string in the middle, leaving a few strands holding the string together.
Got a new string this week and will shoot this week end. Will take a bit to get used to this bow, but I do like it.
