What a great way to spend the day. I too should be doing that but just can't seem to find the time most days

Good shoot, practiced shooting from the chair that I will be using in the ground blind. Cameras cards showed lots of doe pics. The acorns have been hitting the ground for two weeks now. Looks like a decent crop this year.

Broke the string last week, never had one break in 25 years of shooting. All I can think is because I'm not used to having the dry-fire devise on the bow that when I heard it click, I stopped pushing the arrow in. That would leave a gap between the string and arrow, half inch, maybe more?? It smashed the end of the arrow and broke the string in the middle, leaving a few strands holding the string together.
Got a new string this week and will shoot this week end. Will take a bit to get used to this bow, but I do like it.

That happen to me once. The arrow wasn't in all the way, dry fire, string came off, missed me fortunately.
