| Well, I didn't see any deer while I was coughing my guts out during the rifle hunt. I've had a cough that's been hanging around for 6 weeks that has kept me out of the woods during bow season. I just got back from a ML Hunt and saw 15 deer, including 2 really small bucks. I am going to start bow hunting in the next week or so.
has anybody had any success this season?

| To bad you were sick, glad you can now go out and hunt. Good luck for seeing the deer you want. As for me its now been 6 years with out a cold or flu. _________________ "Hunting cannot be fully explained" "It must be experianced to be fully understood" Proud Member of..... | Good luck in the ML hunt and try and shake that cold. My favorite recipe is 1-2 oz of rye, 1 oz of realemon, 1/2 oz of realime, a tbsp. of liquid honey (or to taste), and fill the glass with boiling water. As they say it may not cure you but you sure feel a whole lot better. | |

| Yep, that sucks when you can't stop coughing. Bow season back on here again, taking fri. as a holiday and probably hunt all week end. Supposed to snow a bit thurs. and is definately getting colder out. Hopefully the bucks will start moving in daylight. | |

| I am happy to have seen some deer this year with two opportunities - one I let pass and the other I fumbled on. But overall, some early season scouting paid off putting me on a good travel route. My only problem was weather stopping me from going out.
Time to start planning on next season and concentrate on setting up more stands.

| Well I finished the season with my tag still in my pocket, LOL. I got out 4 days in Dec with my crossbow, saw deer on 2 days.... but they saw me way before I saw them . I heard them blow then all I saw was tails.. Oh well, gotta start planning for next year. | |
