Does anyone do hinge cutting trees for deer?

I've been doing a lot of research online about "hinge cutting for deer" and think I may give it a go on a half acre or so to see if it helps the deer on our property. Has anyone on this forum tried it? is it worth the effort? any info that anyone can share will be appreciated // TM

I personally have'nt done the practise but from what I have learned from QDMA, hinge cutting really improves the habitat
for deer. Here is an article by QDMA on the subject. Read the comments too, noting that the best time to do hinge
cutting is in the winter.
