Got five down and back home by 9am,and got my first band

Nice going, congrats.

Nice geese and pics. I am glad you had a better hunt than I did on Sunday morning. We were hunting a partly cut corn field and with all the rain we have had it was a tad wet. We started off getting the quad and trailer stuck twice getting to our spot. We then had to rush getting set up but we really didn't have to because there was just nothing flying for the first hour. The ducks and a few geese started late but for some strange reason they didn't want to come into our corner of the field. They had been using it and weren't hunted so they must have found better pickens elsewhere. The only thing that came into range was sandhill cranes and by the hundreds. When is this Province going to put a season on them like the west. Our area is just polluted with them and I know they are good eating because I have eaten some that my buddy got out west a couple years ago. Enough ranting for now.

By the way, congrats on getting the band.
