| I've been out in the boat twice this summer and haven't caught sh**t !
Last week somebody caught a 40 lb sturgeon at the mouth of the Nottawasaga River in Wasaga Beach on a dew worm. | |

| I just got back from a week of pickerel fishing. Took my new boat out for just the second time and it ran great. The fishing was slower than normal but the fish we were catching were larger ( 4 - 8 lbs.). We had to fish really hard to get our limit to bring home because of it. In the 3 1/2 days of fishing we likely caught a hundred pickerel each and countless pike. Sorry no pics ( camera problems). | |

| Hey 4st, where where you fishing? I've only been out a couple of times this year. The wife and I went camping near Ompah in june and caught 6 pickerel and a dozen pike. I'm ready for bow season but wouldn't mind another feed of fish. | |

| I was fishing near Chapleau (north of Sault Ste Marie) on a lake accessable only by ATV. It's a long way from the Ottawa area. | |

| Chapleau - some great memories form there. I spent a summer up there as a JR. Ranger at Wrong Lake, Missinabi Prov. Park . Good times. | |

| Yes the JR program was a great learning experience for a lot of southern kids. Too bad the Liberals axed the program to save a few bucks. In my mine it was money well spent. | |

| Well I went out again to the same lake and we did real well. The weather was bitter, cold and wet but the fishing was good. We had some nights get down to 0 degrees C and the wind chill I hate to guess. This is mine and my buddy's limit. The pics were taken with my GPS/radio/camera.
